What Can You Expect?
In this training, you’re invited to learn the techniques of Yin Yoga in a way that allows you to deepen your own practice and to share this nourishing practice with others.
Malin Tennent and Jeff Lester will guide you via live Zoom meetings through the theory and principles behind the practice and the benefits available to all levels of your being: physiological, energetic, and psychological.
You’ll gain a deeper awareness of the wide range of anatomical human variation, including your own uniqueness. You’ll learn about the concepts of tension and compression and how this affects your practice.
We will explore the Elements through myth, language and typology:
Gnomes, the beings more closely linked to the earth, embody the desire to work with physical matter, transforming the world so that things can have a truly lasting value. At times their fidelity might seem stubborn, but they are always brave.
Mermaids —or undines—, the spirits of the water, increase the ability to feel and have access to love —water is the supreme medium to transmit and amplify. They are beings of a refined sensuality, connected to dreams and with the ludic appearance of nature.
The sylphs, the beings and spirits of air, are arrogant expressions of the word, of the ascendant energy; sublime, invisible and light. They are beings of great beauty and harmony, physical and intellectual, they generally dominate the arts.
Salamanders, fire manifestations, are the expression of will, power, intensity, and ardour (spiritual and erotic). Their incendiary nature can make them volatile and dangerous for those who interact with them —if they don’t have earth qualities.

I liked Yin before the training but I am now fascinated by it and love Yin! I have noticed a huge difference in my body and look forward to a deeper dive into Yin in the future.
Over the last year or so Yin Yoga had been becoming a bigger part of my practice and I really wanted to get a better understanding of why it appealed to me so much. When I heard about the course I was instantly interested, but I had no idea how much I would gain from it. The content and pace of the 50 hours course was perfectly delivered and gave a deep and immersive quality to the teaching. I would highly recommend this training.
I loved it and feel bereft that I've got no trainings for now.
Who Is This Training For?
